My Habitat is a Lisbon and Amsterdam based studio dedicated to creating bespoke stone pieces. Founded by interior designer Alexandra Coxon, the collection grew from a desire to create pieces she couldn’t find elsewhere.
Rooted in timeless design, My Habitat creates work that feels grounded and alive — pieces intended to live for decades, aging as beautifully as the stone they’re shaped from.

Each piece begins with the stone itself; the material is both muse and medium. My Habitat collaborates closely with quarries and makers to select high-quality blocks that bring a distinct presence to every design.
We work with artisans whose knowledge of stone spans generations. The studio’s early table designs drew inspiration from 1970s Italian minimalism and designers such as Mangiarotti and Bellini, whose work celebrated geometry, balance, and material honesty. These influences still echo through the collection today, grounding each piece in timeless form.
Every My Habitat piece is made to order and can be tailored to your wishes. From adjusting dimensions to selecting stone types, finishes, and details, the process is intentionally flexible.
Whether it’s a one-off statement piece or a large-scale commission, many clients choose to adapt existing designs, while others come to us with a vision of their own — the studio welcomes both.
