CONFORMITY TO DESCRIPTION

By purchasing from My Habitat Design, you acknowledge that our products are handcrafted from natural materials. While every effort is made to match product descriptions, slight variations in finish may occur.

Natural irregularities in colour, grain, veining, and texture are inherent to the material and form part of each piece’s unique character.

SALES

These sales terms apply between My Habitat Design and the person named on the order and form the basis of the agreement for purchasing goods.

Custom quotations and invoices issued outside the website may be made in EUR. For EU customers, VAT is included where applicable. For deliveries outside the EU, pricing excludes duties and taxes, which may be payable upon import.

Production and lead times commence upon receipt of full payment. As all pieces are made to order, orders are non-refundable once payment is received and production has begun.

While we will always aim to accommodate changes, modifications cannot be guaranteed once production is underway.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS

All pieces are made to order and are therefore non-refundable once production has commenced.

We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind or incorrect selections. Please ensure all specifications and drawings are reviewed carefully prior to confirming your order.

All goods must be inspected upon delivery. Any damages, shortages, or discrepancies must be reported in writing, with supporting photographs, within 48 hours of receipt and prior to installation.

In the rare event that your item arrives damaged, please provide photographs of:

  • The item in its original packaging

  • Any visible damage to the product or packaging

  • Any signs of mishandling by the carrier

My Habitat Design is not responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for damage resulting from improper installation, relocation, unsuitable site conditions, or incorrect care.

WARRANTY & LIABILITY

My Habitat Design provides a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery, strictly covering manufacturing defects and structural integrity under normal use.

This warranty applies solely to the structural performance of the piece and does not extend to surface appearance or natural material characteristics.

Due to the natural properties of stone, variations in colour, veining, texture, and natural markings are inherent and are not considered defects.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Surface wear, scratching, etching, staining, or natural ageing over time

  • Damage resulting from improper handling, relocation, installation, or use

  • Failure to follow recommended care and maintenance guidelines

  • Damage caused by environmental or site-specific conditions

  • Any treatment, sealing, or modification applied after delivery

All products must be inspected upon delivery. Any transport-related damage, defects, or discrepancies must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receipt and prior to installation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Habitat Design shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products.
