Stone Care & Installation

DESIGNED TO BE LIVED WITH AND TO AGE BEAUTIFULLY. WITH A FEW SIMPLE CONSIDERATIONS, YOUR PIECE WILL REMAIN A TIMELESS PART OF YOUR HOME — BECOMING MORE BEAUTIFUL OVER TIME.

Assembly — Stone Tables

Each table is designed for simple, intuitive assembly, with components packed separately within your custom crate for safe handling and ease of installation. Your piece will follow one of the assembly methods below. If anything is unclear, please feel free to reach out.

For pieces such as our bath collection, specific instructions will be provided where required.

Plug-in — Secure with integrated fitting

An integrated connection beneath the tabletop allows the base to lock securely into place. Application: Gently lower the top onto the legs, guiding the integrated plug into alignment with the base

Gravity-set — Place and align

The tabletop is designed to rest directly on the base, with weight and proportion creating natural stability. No additional fixing required.
Application: Gently lower the top onto the base, ensuring it sits evenly.

Silicone set — Semi-permanent fixing

If silicone is needed for your piece, a tube of stone-safe adhesive will be included in your crate. Some designs feature subtle pre-carved indentations to guide placement, while others are intentionally left free for flexible positioning.
Application: Apply small, evenly spaced dots of silicone to the top of each leg. Allow it to sit for 1–2 minutes, then carefully lower the tabletop into position, pressing down gently to secure. You will have time to adjust alignment before the adhesive begins to set. Full strength is reached after 24 hours, so we recommend avoiding movement or use during this time.

Care & Protection

Natural variation in tone, veining, and texture is part of the beauty of stone. Each piece is entirely unique and will develop character over time. Travertine may feature natural pitting, while marble may show more variation in veining — both are inherent to the material.

The Essentials

With a few simple considerations, your piece will retain its integrity and beauty over time.

- Wipe spills promptly, especially acidic substances such as wine, citrus, and coffee
- Clean with mild soap and water
- Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners
- For natural pitting, a soft brush or vacuum can be used for occasional deeper cleaning

Daily care

Designed for everyday living, your piece requires only minimal care.

- Clean with a soft cloth and warm water, using a mild soap if needed
- Dry the surface after cleaning to prevent water marks
- Use placemats and coasters for very hot or moisture-prone items

Protection & Sealing

If you’d like an additional layer of protection, we recommend a natural stone sealant to enhance durability while maintaining the stone’s natural finish.

We use and recommend Aqua Mix Stone Sealant — a product we’ve tested over many years for its subtle, high-quality result and ease of application. You can view the product here for reference; it is available worldwide.

While it’s not required, many of our clients choose to apply it for added peace of mind. It has a natural finish, is simple to apply. Please note it may slightly deepen the tone of the stone.
