How do I make a custom piece?
All of our pieces are made to order and fully customisable. You can adjust the size, stone, finish, and design details—or bring your own concept to life. If you have something specific in mind, we’d love to hear from you. Use our Custom Order form here.
What is the lead time on your pieces?
Lead times range from 3 to 10 weeks, depending on the piece and level of customisation. For the most accurate estimate, please refer to the individual product pages or get in touch.
What countries do you deliver to?
We ship to most countries around the world. For a list of shipping rates and countries, head to checkout.
What should I know about duties and taxes?
Orders delivered within the EU will not incur any additional import duties or VAT.
For deliveries outside the EU, import duties and taxes may apply. These charges are typically collected by your local customs authority. To estimate potential costs, we recommend using Simply Duty with HS Code 68029100 (covering marble, travertine, and alabaster).
Once your order is ready to ship, we’ll be in touch. Where possible, we always offer the option for MY HABITAT to handle customs clearance on your behalf, simplifying the process and minimising paperwork for you.
Do you offer trade or wholesale?
Yes. We welcome both trade and wholesale enquiries. You can apply to our trade program or contact us to learn more.
Do you have a showroom or stockists?
MY HABITAT is online only. While we don’t have a physical showroom, we maintain a comprehensive image library and are always available to assist. Reach out for detailed photos and information to help guide your decision.
Can I have an order fast tracked?
If you require a piece sooner than our current lead-times, we might be able to assist. Please contact us to discuss your project timelines.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives with visible damage, please take photos immediately and email us at products@myhabitatdesign.com within 24 hours of delivery. If you're unable to open the crate upon arrival, sign as “accepted upon inspection” to ensure any hidden damage can still be reported. We’ll work quickly to coordinate a repair or replacement.
Do you offer white-glove delivery?
If you need full in-home delivery and unpacking, we can arrange white-glove service for you. Just share your address and delivery details with us, and we’ll provide a personalised quote for you.
Do you accept returns?
Because of the made-to-order nature of our pieces, we are unable to accept returns. Please choose carefully as we do not provide refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
Do I need to seal my table?
Sealing isn’t required, but If you’d like an extra layer of protection, we recommend Aqua Mix sealant. It’s easy to apply and keeps a natural finish. Quick guide: [Video Link].
How will my table arrive?
Your table will arrive in a custom crate, with the top and legs packed separately inside the crate.
How do I clean and care for my piece?
- Wipe up acidic spills (wine, coffee, juice, sauces) promptly to avoid etching.
- For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth or a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads.
- Always use placemats for hot dishes and coasters for drinks.
